Erika Pichardo, PhD is Lecturer Criminology and Criminal Justice at Sacred Heart University. Dr. Pichardo has served as both education administrator and educator. At multiple institutions she served as an Adjunct instructor of literature and criminal justice. Most recently, she served as the Title IX Coordinator at Manhattan College and Program Director for prevention education at the College of Mount Saint Vincent.

Dr. Pichardo has presented on topics such as bystander intervention training, LGBTQ+ communities, empathy in the classroom, and grant compliance.

Dr. Pichardo has a BA in Sociology and English from College of Mount Saint Vincent, MA in Criminology and Justice from St. John's University and PhD in Criminal Justice/Law and Public Policy from Walden University.
